What's the unit of measurement for gravel in lungs?
It can't be measured in breaths, that's for damn sure.
What's the rate of speed for a heart with no rhythm, that just bounces frantically, haphazardly, off the inner chest wall?
How do you follow the gaze of someone zeroing in on what's wrong with you?
Impossible, because there aren't zero; they're all.
How many times can a blanket be blamed for being a smotherer, rather than a comforter?
Infinite, but its feelings don't get hurt.
A foot caught in mortal rigidity
Jaws of life
Eyes deny the northward blaze; defy it
And a trembling atrocity of atoms continues to
be.
